Parshall Lady Braves End Season at District 7 Tournament

          The District 7 Tournament was held in Williston, ND Feb. 6-10. The Parshall Lady Braves entered the tournament as the number five seed. Parshall’s first opponent was Powers Lake/Burke Central. The Lady Braves gave it their best, but were defeated 56-35. Isabella Wiliams was the top scorer in the game as the eighth grader put up 12 points. 

The following night, Parshall faced off against Williston Trinity Christian. The Lady Braves had no problem as they were able to hold a comfortable lead through the majority of the game while coming through with a victory of 53-40. Ashtyn Keplin had a fantastic game as the sophomore guard put 19 points on the board. The Lady Braves then moved on to the region qualifier against Trenton. It was a close game, but in the end Parshall didn’t quite have enough to overcome Trenton and were defeated 48-36 which ultimately ended their season. Kacy Jo Heavy Gun led her team as she scored 10 points in the game.
