New Town Lady Eagles Miss Opportunity to Advance to Regional Tournament

The New Town Lady Eagles traveled to Dunseith, ND on Feb. 15, 2024 to play the Dunseith Lady Dragons. The winner of the game would advance to the Division A Region Three Tournament while the loser would see their season come to a halt.

The majority of the game was a shootout as both teams consistently answered back with points on the board when the opponent scored. It wasn’t until the final minutes of the fourth quarter that the Dunseith Lady Dragons were able to pull away and defeat the New Town Lady Eagles with a score of 47-39.
