The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation employees are appreciated by the leaders of the MHA Nation. An entire day was dedicated to showing the employees and their families that their work and dedication is not being overlooked.
The hot summer day was made so much better for the employees with the MHA Nation Employee Fun Day. The main hub for activities was in the Four Bears Water Park Parking Lot, but there were also fun activities at the Little Shell Pow Wow Arbor area where there was volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and a co-ed cornhole contest.
The 4 Bears Water Park also was free to enjoy from 11 a.m. until 3 o’clock that afternoon and there were plenty of people who jumped at the chance to cool off at the spectacular water park. There were nearly 200 door prizes given out to employees that special day for those who give their effort to make MHA Nation a great place to live and work. Prizes included some incredible items such as patio sets, large-screen televisions, grills, electronics, cookware, and countless other quality items. There was also a bingo played that day for nice prizes in the grand ballroom in the cool confines of the 4 Bears Casino.
The long day of activities was capped off with a watermelon eating contest and a karaoke singing competition that was won by Dr. Bernice Dubois. Second place was won by Lovell Overlie and third place went to Tyler White. There were many other prizes and winners last Friday at the MHA Employee Fun Day.
