Chairman Fox's Weekly Projects Update

MHA Nation continues to make substantial investments in the health and wellness of our people. Providing vital health care, resources and services to keep our community healthy and whole is one of our top priorities.

MHA Nation Emergency Operation Center (EOC)

The MHA Nation Emergency Operation Center (EOC) protects the MHA community by reducing Ft. Berthold Reservation’s overall vulnerability to emergencies. As a secure center, the facility is responsible for strategic emergency management, homeland security and incident management. It is a regional location for tribal, local, county, state and federal agencies to work together in response to both natural and man-made disasters.

The EOC’s primary functions include:

•Emergency command center

•24/7 monitoring and sharing information to stay on top of potential and/or ongoing risks

•Tracking and allocating resources in preparation of, and response to, emergencies

The grand opening is scheduled for the first week of June.
