Wade “CB” William White Body II

Wade “CB” William White Body II, 39, New Town was called home on September 8, 2021. “Tatanka Ta Shaka Wicasa” Buffalo Hoof Man.

Wade was born at Trinity Hospital on July 13th, 1982 in Minot, ND to Sheryl White Body.  He was a member of the Three Affiliated Tribes. He was raised in New Town, ND alongside his sisters and cousin Dezi with the help of his grandparents Janice and Wade White Body. He attended church and loved the gospel music of Johnny Curtis.

As a child, he loved drinking evaporated milk from the can.  Each birthday his mother made his favorite meal of Indian tacos and menudo.  He moved to Browning, MT with his mother and stepfather Frank “Tex” Mad Plume who raised him.  He made many friends there and later moved back to New Town. 

From a young age, he loved to drive and was exceptionally well at it.  He enjoyed picking up the neighborhood kids and relatives to drive them to the lake for the day so they could swim.  

“CB” attended school in New Town, where he met his first wife Mary May in junior high.  They were married on December 2, 2000, and from this union welcomed seven beautiful children; Phoebe, Monaque, Josephine, Dakotah, Wade, Theodore, and Blue Thunder White Body.   

As an adult, he worked for Blaine Foote as a carpenter for 2 years.  He also worked in Fargo for the manufacturing plant.  He had many small jobs as he was a great handyman and mechanic.  Many people depended on him to help work on their cars and homes.  His grandmothers Janice and June loved his peanut butter cookies.   

Later in life “CB” married Heather Bruce and together they welcomed four beautiful children; Cadence, Caliana, Ceyana, and Ciah Mae. 

“CB” loved to spend time with his children, fishing, spending time at the lake, and attending family events.  His hobbies included helping others, fixing cars, and carpentry.  Everyone knew “CB” as a kind and loving person. 

CB is survived by his mother, Sheryl White Body; father, Frank “Tex” Mad Plume; sisters, Francine Mad Plume, Francia (Gerald) White Body, Tamara (Daryl) Rollins, Davina Yessilth, and Mary Jane Deschamp; brother, Daylan Deschamp; children, Phoebe, Monaque, Josephine, Dakotah, Wade III, Theodore, Blue Thunder, Cadence, Caliana, Ceyana, and Ciah Mae White Body; grandson, Andres White Body; uncle, Titus White Body; aunts, Eleanor and Ellen White Body. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wade and Janice White Body; paternal grandparents, Mary Jane and Pat Deschamp; biological father, Damien Deschamp; uncles, James “Duck” White Body and Jason Conklin; and aunt, Barbara Ann White Body.
