New Town, ND – Construction workers were busy Monday afternoon installing street lights from the south side of New Town at Highway 23 to 7th Street, onto the other side of the railroad tracks, south of town on 3rd Street. The street lights have already been installed every 200 feet on the north-side of town and the project will expand east to the Cenex station on 88th Avenue NW. “Work is scheduled to continue for another month or so until the project is completed. Boring will continue for another month and all the poles will be up the following month,” says Foreman, Cole Montgomery of Gruvell Excavating (subcontractors for Mountrail Williams).
